I've been a freelance/small agency service provider for years. This host is actually what I'd consider a trade secret. I don't reveal it. At least not without getting dragged down and beat. I keep it a secret because the support is absolutely incredible. Yes, other places have support that's knowledgable. But THESE GUYS? They are AVAILABLE! And I'm talking INSTANTLY! You'll be chatting with a brilliant support rep within seconds.
This is hands down the best wordpress hosting ever - speed, security, etc are brilliant - but their customer service is another level. You get to talk to a rea person every time, and 99.9% of the times they sort out whatever trouble you are having - I have been learning how to make no code websites and i used to get into a lot of trouble and almost every single time they have been courteous, patient and professional.
I have been with WPX for more than 5 years now and I would encourage anyone who wants a seamless hosting experience to go with them.
My most recent trouble shooter was Velislav - Thanks man for helping me and tolerating all my little goof ups :)

I hired WPX for my domain and hosting last year.
In July, I lost my credit card and had to wait a month to receive a new one, as it had to be shipped from Canada to Mexico where I currently live. I informed WPX about this situation, and they told me that to restore my website, I would need to pay manually.
I am fully aware that restoring a website involves both a hosting and a domain fee that’s exactly why I asked their support how many invoices I needed to pay. Their agent clearly confirmed (see attached screenshot) that there was only one active invoice for the domain renewal ($14 USD). Naturally, I followed those instructions, paid it manually, and received confirmation that my website was restored and active (see second screenshot).
Shortly after, I noticed an unexpected $249 USD charge on my card that I had not authorized, since I never paid that manually. When I asked for clarification and requested a refund (thinking it was a mistake), WPX offered me a discount to keep me as a customer and then processed the refund. I genuinely thought it had been a misunderstanding. However, after the refund, they disabled my website again. I spent over a week trying to get it restored, only to be told I had to pay the $249 after all. Because of the charge and refund, I lost $17.47 CAD due to exchange rate differences (I paid CAD 357.15 → refunded CAD 339.68).
Despite clear emails showing I only asked for clarification, WPX re-charged my card without my explicit consent. Communication between agents was inconsistent I was told different things by different people, an offer to restore was made then withdrawn, and the tone from the Customer Success Lead, Stefan Jekov, was dismissive, defensive, and gaslighting. He refused to take any responsibility for the errors made by his team.
I requested fair compensation for the exchange-rate loss (1–2 months of free service) and a senior review, but WPX refused and instead blamed me for “saving my card,” which apparently “generated an invoice.” This does not reflect the timeline or the written evidence I have.
I’m leaving this review to warn others and future potential clients: if you value clear billing, transparency, and professional communication, be cautious. I have all the emails and screenshots proving how this unfolded and attempted to resolve the issue privately before posting. WPX continues to deny responsibility, even though their own written messages show the opposite.
If you use WPX, double-check every invoice and disable automatic payments to avoid unauthorized charges. The lack of accountability and basic customer care is deeply disappointing.

the most Unethical and Abhorrent hosting company I have encountered - Despite my cancelation request in writing and moving my site to BLUEHOST in June - WPX decided to charge my account extracting funds for a services anyway for subsequent months- without my permission and without accountability. I contacted customer support on numerous occasions and provided proof, only to be ignored or they outright denied the refund they owed me. Even with my written proof provided to their employees like Maria Chenkova, Miroslav M., Stefan Jekov, Deyan Lazarov, Georgi Y. Georgiev. and many more attempts to resolved this. They made me jump through hoops to cancel and then pretend they didn't receive my request, though I provided screen shots, time stamps and invoices. It took a fraud investigation from my bank to finally stop these crooks, Do not use WPX - they are unethical. CONSUMER BEWARE. Do you not give your banking information to WPX. Check Trust Pilot and Better Business Bureau before singing up with tricksters like these guys.

Was forced out of Bluehost because they let my sites get hacked via their plugin, and wanted a fortune to help fix my four sites. WPX used backups from my PC to both restore and clean my sites. The tech support people are marvelous, and very fast to answer. Only been with WPX a week, but night and day vs. Bluehost. Another benefit: much faster website loading and editing response than Bluehost! I hope the good stuff continues!
