Features and Overview
Breath of the Wild
Faron is a Region in the southeast of Hyrule. It is a jungle-like Region. Unlike most other major Regions, Faron is not home to any Divine Beasts.
In the deep jungle there are many Fruits, ancient stone landmarks, and at the coasts of the Region, there are beaches.
Lots of Animals, Fruits, and Plants can be found here, like Hearty Durians and Mighty Bananas.

The following section is not part of the Zelda canon and should not be taken as such.
Age of Imprisonment
Faron reappears in Age of Imprisonment. Like in Age of Calamity, the Region is noticeably larger than its counterpart in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, including parts of West Necluda. It consists of thick Forests with multiple ancient ruins.[5] The area is prone to Thunderstorms, though locals are protected by Lightning rods.[6] Challenges taking place in Faron use Damel Forest as a Stage.
As part of the Quest "A Sketch of Faron", Lenalia strives to produce a Sketch of Faron, though her travels require assistance from locals. After finishing all Challenges and Quests in the Region, Lenalia is able to complete her Sketch.[5]

It will be impossible to produce a recreation of Faron's dense forests without the help of locals familiar with the terrain and climate of the region—but thankfully, they were more than happy to offer their assistance. Perhaps we should repay them by solving any outstanding troubles in their lands.
