The Secret Stone of Fire is a Secret Stone that has been imbued with its wielder's power of Fire, allowing it to be amplified. When the King of Hyrule Rauru summoned the leaders of Hyrule's various peoples to the Forgotten Temple, he made them Sages and gave them the four remaining Secret Stones.[2] The Stone given to Agraston turned into a Secret Stone of Fire, and he became the Sage of Fire as a result.[3]
Agraston wielded his Secret Stone during the Imprisoning War, where he fought alongside Rauru and the rest of the Six Sages.[3] However, they were unable to defeat Demon King Ganondorf, and so Rauru used the power of his Secret Stone of Light to seal him away.[4] Sometime afterwards, Zelda visited him and asked for his assurance that the Gorons would help Link defeat Ganondorf in the future.[5][6] Agraston promised her that the Sage of Fire would awaken to fight with Link.[7]
Following this, the Secret Stone of Fire was enshrined in the Fire Temple, and it eventually lost its Fire power and returned to a regular Secret Stone. When the Upheaval began, Demon King Ganondorf summoned Marbled Gohma to guard the Secret Stone, preventing it from being claimed by a prospective Sage.[8]
As Link and Yunobo explore the Fire Temple during the Main Quest "Yunobo of Goron City", they receive guidance from Agraston's voice.[9] After they defeat Marbled Gohma, the Secret Stone floats to the ground.[10] When he touches it, the Spirit of Agraston appears before them. He introduces himself as Yunobo's ancestor,[11] and he explains that Marbled Gohma was sent to stop Yunobo from awakening as a Sage.[8] After sharing the story of the Imprisoning War, Agraston requests that Yunobo fulfill his promise to Zelda by claiming the Secret Stone and becoming the new Sage of Fire.[12]
Although Yunobo is hesitant at first, he realizes the importance of helping Link and decides to accept the Secret Stone.[13] The Stone gains the power of Fire once again, and it attaches itself to his belt. Yunobo is able to create a Sage Avatar of himself,[14] which he allows Link to summon by the Vow of Yunobo, Sage of Fire.[15] This Sage Avatar also wears a copy of the Secret Stone of Fire.
During the War in the Depths of Hyrule, Yunobo appears at Gloom's Origin and calls on the Secret Stone of Fire's power to fight alongside Link.

Age of Imprisonment
Agraston's Secret Stone of Fire reappears in Age of Imprisonment. With a horde of Monsters approaching the Tanagar Canyon Temple prior to the Scenario "A Time for Action", Rauru decides to bestow the four remaining Secret Stones to Agraston and the other leaders of Hyrule's peoples.[16][17] The Secret Stone of Fire grants Agraston the Unique Skill Flame Burst, which allows him to throw a Flame Ball that explodes on impact.[18] After using his Secret Stone, Agraston will be buffed with the power of Fire for a short period of time.[19]
