Public-facing documentation for the WoOOL client is maintained in the project wiki.
The wiki collects curated technical writeups on file formats, WPF archives, map and world data, rendering, and high-level update architecture:
The documentation is based on reverse engineering of the client binaries.
We used Ghidra to decompile the client and an LLM to work through the decompiled binaries, organize findings, and help turn those findings into structured analysis documents. The public wiki presents the resulting technical conclusions in a curated form and intentionally leaves out operational guidance for accessing live game data or update artifacts.
