I build things in two registers: as an EM on a platform team for a multi-hundred-engineer org, and as a solo operator shipping a product from idea to grocery cart.
Forkless removes the mental overhead of eating well. Tell it your household's preferences and goals once; it turns that profile into a weekly meal plan and a real grocery cart at your store, automatically.
Most meal-planning apps stop at "here are some ideas." Forkless runs the full pipeline end-to-end, which is the part no one else does: household profile, weekly plan generation, consolidated grocery list, and a real cart handed off to the user's store. Intolerances are treated as hard excludes across the whole pipeline (never shown, never recommended). Budget and ingredient overlap are first-class planning constraints, not afterthoughts.
It was originally built for my own household, to solve the real problems of decision fatigue, picky eaters, and the daily extra workload cooking puts on our family. Launching in the US.
Engineering Manager at Rover. I lead a front end product development team, but have spent most of my career in some flavor of backend, infrastructure, and platform work. The EM craft I think most about (and write about, eventually) is shipping under real constraints with a small team — which is also, conveniently, the entire premise of operating Forkless on the side.
