I'm a research cyberinfrastructure developer and applied AI engineer at Florida International University, with 16+ years building large-scale, data-intensive research platforms across digital libraries, geospatial science, environmental studies, and security research.
My recent work integrates trustworthy agentic-AI into geospatial and environmental research systems — keeping autonomous agents accountable to data that has to stay traceable, reproducible, and FAIR.
AgentLoom — an open-source governance framework for builder agents. Agents propose → AgentLoom reviews, validates (Tier-A rules), and records provenance before anything lands in the knowledge graph.

The patterns were generalized from production research data lifecycle management — 10+ governed agents and 100+ TB under management across historical aerial photography, GIS, time-series, and real-time sensor data.
- EnviStor — NSF-funded, FAIR-aligned environmental data repository. I lead engineering and operations for its scalable data, metadata, and AI-ready pipelines.
- dPanther — FIU Libraries' primary digital collections repository. Core technical architect and lead developer for 14+ years.
- FIU Dataverse — lead technical architect since 2013.
- FIU GIS Center cyberinfrastructure — enterprise GIS services, geospatial databases, cloud GIS platforms, and custom Web-GIS applications.
- Agentic-AI governance — propose/review/accept, validators, provenance
- Knowledge graphs as canonical memory for AI systems
- Research data management & FAIR data infrastructure
- GIS / geospatial & environmental data pipelines and AI-enabled analytics
If you're putting AI agents anywhere near data that has to stay trustworthy, I'd love to compare notes.
AgentLoom is personal open-source research software. Public repos are framework-only — no production deployment code or data.
