This repository contains the Namastack master landing site built with Next.js. It showcases the Namastack Outbox project (an open-source transactional outbox for Spring Boot) and provides documentation, feature highlights, and legal information.
The site uses:
- Next.js (App Router)
- Tailwind CSS for styling
- Framer Motion for smooth UI animations
- Vanta.js (Topology) for the animated hero background
- p5 and three (runtime for Vanta effects)
This README gives a concise guide to running, building, and contributing to the landing site.
Requirements:
- Node.js 18+ (recommended)
- npm (or yarn / pnpm)
Install dependencies and run the dev server:
npm install
npm run devOpen http://localhost:3000 in your browser.
Available scripts (from package.json):
npm run dev # start Next.js dev server
npm run build # build a production version
npm run start # start the production server (after build)
npm run lint # run ESLintapp/— Next.js App Router pages and layoutapp/page.tsx— main landing page that composes all sectionsapp/legal/page.tsx— legal notice & privacy pageapp/globals.css— global Tailwind CSS config + theme variables

The Hero animation uses Vanta's Topology effect which depends on
p5at runtime. TheVantaBackgroundcomponent dynamically loads p5 and the Vanta script only in the browser to avoid SSR issues. -
Framer Motion's
useScrollanduseTransformare used to create a scroll-linked effect so hero content fades/moves as the user scrolls. -
Tailwind CSS is configured via
app/globals.css. Adjust CSS variables there (for colors, primary accent, etc.).
This site is optimized for deployment on Vercel (the creators of Next.js). To deploy:
- Push the repository to GitHub (or another Git host)
- Import the project on Vercel and follow the prompts
Vercel will run npm run build automatically. The site expects static prerendering for the main
pages and will work out-of-the-box on Vercel.
Contributions are welcome. Typical contribution workflow:
- Fork the repository
- Create a feature branch
- Run and test locally
- Open a pull request with a clear description
