Exoplanet

Abstract

Over the past two decades, advancements in astronomical technology have resulted in a wealth of data from space missions, leading to new insights into celestial phenomena. Automated data processing, particularly in exoplanet detection, is increasingly critical due to the volume of data, prompting calls for more efficient evaluation methods. In this study, we gathered data from the Kepler telescope and carried out an extensive experimental evaluation using 16 machine learning algorithms with varying parameter settings. To analyze the results obtained, we proposed an experimental analysis method aiming to set a baseline for the literature on automatic exoplanet detection.
