🚀 About me

Software engineer focused on developer tools, Linux/server automation, platform foundations, and production-oriented tooling.

I build systems that need to remain understandable, testable, recoverable, and practical to operate — not just reach a working happy path.

My work spans:

  • 🐍 Python CLI/TUI and automation
  • 🐧 Linux server and operator tooling
  • 🛠️ Developer infrastructure and workflow automation
  • 🤖 MCP and AI-assisted development tooling
  • 🧱 TypeScript backend/platform foundations
  • 🌐 Browser and local-first utilities
  • 🏗️ SketchUp / Blender workflow tooling
  • 🎮 Unity / C# development
  • 📦 Git, CI, releases, packaging, and deployment workflows

AI-assisted development is part of my engineering workflow for research, implementation, audits, documentation, and validation.

I use AI as an acceleration layer rather than an authority layer: architecture, scope, verification, security boundaries, and production decisions remain explicitly controlled.

🏗️ Main directions

Area Focus
Platform / developer tooling Developer utilities, MCP tooling, project inspection, workflow automation, validation, release tooling
Linux / server tooling CLI/TUI applications, systemd, configuration workflows, repair flows, health checks, monitoring, and operational automation
Backend / platform foundations TypeScript platforms, modular architecture, APIs, persistence, and infrastructure boundaries
AI-assisted engineering Human-in-the-loop development, structured validation, controlled execution, review, and verification workflows
Browser utilities Chrome extensions, local-first browser tools, usage monitoring, and developer productivity utilities
3D workflows SketchUp/Ruby tooling, Blender/OBJ pipelines, geometry processing, and workflow helpers
Game development Unity/C# prototypes, gameplay systems, and mobile/game concepts

🧪 Engineering approach

I prefer evolving systems from verified working foundations rather than replacing working mechanisms simply because a newer design looks cleaner.

Typical workflow:

  1. Define the problem, users, boundaries, and operational constraints.
  2. Inspect the existing system before changing it.
  3. Establish architecture and ownership boundaries.
  4. Implement changes in bounded slices.
  5. Validate through tests, static checks, logs, runtime evidence, and review.
  6. Preserve known-good mechanisms when they still provide useful fallback or recovery paths.
  7. Treat failures and incorrect assumptions as input for regression tests, policies, or stronger invariants.
  8. Improve architecture when evidence justifies it rather than through speculative rewrites.

Principles

AI explores aggressively. Human decisions remain deliberate.

Working software earns trust through evidence, not novelty.

A new mechanism should improve the system without unnecessarily destroying a proven fallback.

Ideas are welcome. Uncontrolled scope expansion is not.
