Backend engineer focused on building tools that make repetitive work disappear. I spend most of my time writing Go, automating things that shouldn't need a human, and occasionally yelling at shell scripts.
- Go — primary language, most of my tooling lives here
- Python — scripting, quick automation, glue code
- Shell — because sometimes bash is the right answer
- Docker / Linux — daily environment
Mostly CLI tools and internal DevOps utilities — the kind of stuff that saves 10 minutes a day and quietly becomes critical infrastructure. I like projects that are small in scope but high in usefulness.
- Building a small task runner to replace some Makefile chaos at work
- Learning more about Go's
ioand concurrency patterns
- GitHub issues/discussions work fine for most things
