I am a data scientist with 7 years of experience (2.5 years post-PhD) in bioinformatics 🧬💻, currently working as a Bioinformatician (Metagenomics) @ the Microbiological Diagnostic Unit Public Health Laboratory (MDU PHL), The University of Melbourne.

I have worked on large (and often messy!) multimodal omic datasets, building robust analytical pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional, international teams to drive impactful research. My previous and current works revolve around host-microbe interactions and studies involving underrepresented populations.

I am passionate about using data science to advance our understanding of human health and to promote diversity and equity in genomics research.
