pxSort is a free, open-source Android application for creating pixel sorting glitch art.
Pixel sorting is a form of glitch art created by ordering the pixels in an image according to the value of some numerical value associated with each pixel (e.g. the red, green, or blue channel).
In essence, the "glitchy" effects of pixel sorting are a result of the assignment of arbitrary order to otherwise orderless objects.
