Currently, PORD-based MUMPS is adequate.
PORD is included with MUMPS.
Scalapack is also required.
A possible 20% or so speedup on small simulations was seen using METIS + Scotch + PORD with MUMPS 5.2.1.
Building libraries
While these libraries are available from most Linux distributions, if you desire to build the libraries, scripts are available for MUMP and Scalapack.
MUMPS verbosity
MUMPS initialization ICNTL flags are set in numerical/potential/potential_mumps.f90.
ICNTL 1-4 concern print output unit and verbosity level, see MUMPS
User Manual
Until MUMPS 5.2, MUMPS ignored the verbosity flags, producing 100+ MB of console text per Gemini run.
To avoid this printout, upgrade to MUMPS ≥ 5.2.
