Almost... It's certainly no "vibe slop" project. I've put in a at least few months of manual human hours into it. But still, it's almost "done" and I'm not feeling the satisfaction that I should.
As the project progressed, the ideas kept coming, and during moments of the most excitement - self-discipline failed me. "I know how this works, it's fine, I'll take a closer look later" - I said to myself, as I let the Agent figure out why a button looks weird after the latest egui update, or what the formula is for writing a biquad filter.
Don't get me wrong, agentic AI was very useful to get me to this point. I quickly iterated through ALOOOT of ideas that didn't pan out, tried a number of different stacks and was able to build almost exactly what I wanted to.
In the end, I learned a lot about psikat but not about everything else I should've learned.
This time, I want to learn!.
I want to struggle and overcome.
I want to do the best I can and let it suck if that's the best I got.
I want to put my name on it and say - "I did this!", without any disclaimers.
