Hello,
I am the maintainer of https://docs.rs/extended-htslib/latest/extended_htslib/, an evolution of htslib taking advantage of CS and MD tag. Your implementation of minimap2 provides those tags and I was wondering if it was possible to allow use of extended htslib just as you did with htslib and provides a better linkage to CS/MD tag. I did some modifications on my pull requests to show an example (in test).
