Pau Vicedo

Engineering leader in València, Spain. Currently Senior Engineering Manager at Livestorm, leading product engineering and infrastructure through Engineering Managers and senior ICs.

Fourteen years across European SaaS, developer platforms, fintech and IoT, with a detour through product management that I've never regretted. Most of my work now is building the things that let engineers do good work: performance and career frameworks, feedback culture, engineering standards, and the operating model around them. I stay close to the code through reviews, support rotations and bug fixes, and I'm deliberately not on the critical path for production deploys.

What's here

Most of what I build is private, so this profile is a bad proxy for what I actually do. The one thing worth opening:

stone-ink-design-system is my personal brand design system: tokens, components, a UI kit. Warm stone surfaces, ink typography, one loud yellow, DM Mono annotations. Everything I publish is built on it, including my CV.

The rest lives locally: a multi-model router I use every day across Claude, Codex and local models, a capture tool for macOS notes, and assorted things running on a Proxmox box in my office. They exist to make me faster, not to be maintained by anyone else.

Outside my own repos, I have an open PR on td, a Rust TUI task manager for Obsidian markdown TODOs, adding configurable section headings. I use td daily, which is why I wrote it.

How I work with AI

I use LLMs for most of my work, Claude Code included, every day. I also assume the output is wrong until I've checked. A fair amount of it is, or it's right in a way that quietly falls apart at the edges. Most of the value in this space is in having that reflex, and in knowing which problems don't need a model at all.
