When you start a task, Zenpad transforms into a full-screen focus environment featuring:
- Task title and description prominently displayed
- Giant countdown timer showing remaining time
- Shrinking progress bar with scientific jet colormap colors
- Simple controls - just Pause and Done buttons
The progress bar starts as a full blue bar and gradually shrinks from right to left, changing colors from blue to cyan to green to yellow to red as time runs out - creating beautiful visual urgency!
When your focus session completes, you'll hear authentic submarine sonar pings:
- Deep 420Hz tone - Atmospheric and non-jarring
- 0.5 second intervals - Consistent rhythm
- 1.2 second decay - Long atmospheric fade on each ping
- Persistent until acknowledged - Keeps pinging until you return to the tab
- Auto-stops on focus - Silence when you click or return to the tab
