OpenGlucose 0.1
OpenGlucose 0.1
OpenGlucose 0.1 is the stable release of the local-first CGM wellness app for
Android and iPhone.
What's new
- More reliable Android sensor setup on phones where bonding, service
discovery, or notification setup can fail in a device-specific order. - OpenGlucose stops scanning before it connects, lets each Bluetooth operation
finish, and makes at most one fresh-connection recovery attempt. - Sensor setup follows the required notification and authentication order,
keeps an existing healthy pairing, and cannot repeat sensor activation. - A new Move sensor to another phone action safely releases the current
sensor pairing after an explicit warning. Normal Disconnect continues to
preserve the pairing. - A clearer 60-minute sensor warmup experience. Early warmup values stay out
of the dashboard, wellness summaries, Apple Health, and live glucose
surfaces. - Warmup countdowns in Android notifications and iOS Live Activities.
- Optional post-warmup glucose values in live notifications and Live
Activities. Sensitive values remain hidden by default. - Clearer Bluetooth-off, scan, pairing, range, timeout, and disconnect
recovery without exposing native error details.
Before connecting
An AiDEX transmitter can be paired to only one phone at a time. Keep other
phones and the official sensor app disconnected while OpenGlucose connects.
Before changing phones, use Move sensor to another phone on the phone that
is currently connected. Do not remove the Android pairing or reset an active
sensor unless specific recovery guidance asks for it.
Download
On Android, expand Assets and download openglucose-0.1.3+24.apk.
OpenGlucose is wellness/reference software, not a medical device. Do not use it
for diagnosis, medication or insulin dosing, treatment decisions, or emergency
monitoring.
