AI writes slop, it stacks up tech debt, code reviews are exhausting, it's making engineers dumber.
Not in my experience.
Claude Code and Codex write almost all of my code, and I'm not sad about it. 25 years in software, and I'm doing more serious engineering and product thinking than I ever have. I'm building 10x products with my army of agents instead of shaving 5% off the work I was already doing.
I'm boiling the ocean as its tech lead. I'm not letting it make me its chauffeur.
And that's what I'm here for now: helping everyone around me get results like mine.
My background is a mix of hands-on engineering and technical leadership. I spent 7+ years as Head of Engineering at Vinomofo, riding out hyper-growth and leading the move off a monolithic legacy stack onto a modern headless platform. Fintech and e-commerce before that.
I'm full-stack. Deeply comfortable in React, React Native and Next.js, and just as happy designing the database schemas and APIs behind them.

Box'd. A mobile app for physical storage and inventory. It's also where I work out what AI actually adds to a real user experience. It's on the App Store:
-
Helping engineering teams get great results with AI. Working out where it belongs in how people actually build, so they move faster without the usual friction.
-
Strategy or architecture. I'm just as comfortable talking strategy with executives as I am getting deep into the architecture with the team.
