Design and code are the same discipline, not adjacent ones. I was the designer and the front-end developer on a design system and component library running 85 magazine sites across 60+ brands: the same person who translated product requirements into designs also committed the SCSS.
These days I build with AI in the loop: coding agents doing real work in my repos, local models running in my homelab, and routing between them and frontier APIs based on cost and capability.

- maxx-headroom coordinates multiple Claude Code accounts across rolling usage limits.
- ilano-skills collects the agent skills I make and use, built on the open Agent Skills standard.
- deepclaude-launchagent runs Claude Code against cheaper models and switches back with a slash command.
- ai-safety-check grades self-hosted AI tools red, yellow, or green on six supply-chain signals. Built for the Nebius × Emergence hackathon.
- localai-16gb-bench benchmarks any GGUF model family on a 16 GB NVIDIA GPU and helps you pick a daily driver. Spoiler: So far the DavidAU IQ3M Quant of Qwen3.6-27B wins, and has an 80K context window. Results coming soon.
- subfolio-astro ports Area17's Subfolio from its original Kohana 2.x and PHP 5.6 stack to an Astro static site. A folder on disk becomes a themeable web gallery, still with no database. I ran the original in production for years before porting it. This can be run for free on CloudFlare Pages. Read the docs!
- vps-plausible-stack self-hosts Plausible (privacy, GDPR respecting Google Analytics) behind Caddy on a 2 GB Debian VPS. I'm running mine on IONOS for $4 a month. Works great.
- hackintosh-asus-b650ef-amd is the OpenCore config for a Ryzen 9 7900X and RX 6950 XT build. Repo is retired, but maybe you want to mess with it?
