Maple

Done:

  • define a "motor object"
  • allow it to spin freely
  • be able to connect an arbitrary "inverter" to it
  • simulate that inverter controlling that motor
    • This means that the inverter applies some voltage, and the motor returns the phase currents
    • Torque output
  • Terminations
    • Independent
    • Delta

Todo:

  • Add wye termination
  • Validate field weakening region
  • Add mechanical effects (i.e. load torque, rotor inertia, etc.)
  • Efficiency / loss calculations

Motor modeling is super good

  • Measure some motor mutual inductances. I should be able to do this by:
    • Sending some AC through one coil, and measuring AC output on the other coil. On the secondary coil I see teh derivative of the flux linkage.
