Philosophy / Palette / Ports / v0.3.0
Sine qua non is a Latin phrase meaninig "without which, not." It refers to something indispensable, an essential condition without which something else cannot exist or occur.
snqn is a dogmatic, high-contrast dark theme. It consists of 16 colors and multiple themes/ports that I (and hopefully soon, the community) created.
The philosophy behind this theme is catered towards my personal preferences. Please keep its core values intact:
- High contrast, dark baseline. Light mode is a distant maybe.
- Palette is law. Need extra colors? Blend with Alpha values. Do not introduce new hues.
- Mono space fonts wherever possible.
- No rounded corners.
I bump the version once I change a color of the Palette below.
v0.3.0
╰─┼─┼─ Release Version / When I feel like I've perfected it (perhaps in 10+ years)
╰─┼─ Major Version / After the palette has changed enough (when I update all of my [ports](#ports))
╰─ Minor Version / Very small updates to the palette
Bug reports and fixes (or any type of contribution) are always welcome. Feel free to build your own ports, too. :)
