Senior Frontend Engineer → AI Product Engineer · Lagos, NG
I build frontend systems that actually have to work — payments, lending, merchant ops, compliance-heavy dashboards, the kind of software where a bug isn't just annoying, it's expensive.
7+ years in. CS & Mathematics from OAU. Mostly JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Vue — with a growing obsession for shipping LLM-powered products on top of real domain problems (RAG pipelines, streaming UIs, tool-calling agents, the whole stack).
Currently doing my thing, building mission-critical banking & merchant platforms at national scale. Before that: creator-economy, FX/crypto/payments, and a few other fintech stops along the way.
- 🏦 Serious frontend — secure, data-heavy, production-grade UIs (RBAC, reconciliation flows, regulated releases, the unglamorous stuff that matters)
- 🤖 Applied AI — not demos for demos' sake; copilots and agents wired to real transaction data and ops workflows
- 🧪 Quality that ships — Jest, Cypress, CI/CD, design systems, the boring infrastructure that keeps teams fast and calm
- 🎯 End-to-end ownership — ambiguous problem in, shipped software out
TypeScript · React · Next.js · Vue · Node.js · Python · FastAPI
RAG · LLM APIs · pgvector · Tool-calling agents
Tailwind · Storybook · Jest · Cypress · AWS
Fintech Ops Copilot — AI assistant for merchant transaction reconciliation & dispute support. RAG over transaction/ticket data, tool-calling agent, streaming Next.js chat UI. FastAPI + vector search + Anthropic/OpenAI. Built end-to-end.

Admiring really good design. Photography. Movies. Travelling. Trying things I probably shouldn't at 2am. The internet and I are in a committed relationship.

- ⚡ Fun fact: I once won 1st place in the Flutterwave Developers Challenge — out of 643 devs. Still proud. Still building.
Building dependable systems. Experimenting with intelligent ones. Always shipping.
