Enable OverlayFS for writable live roots layered over immutable system images. The defconfig was expanded and validated with olddefconfig; TMPFS_XATTR remains unavailable on wasm because it depends on MMU-backed shmem. Agent-Session: codex:019fe4bc-be37-76d2-84ac-6064346b040c
