{Christmas Stampathon 2019 - March Challenge}

Welcome to the...

3rd Round of the
Christmas Stampathon 2019

Be inspired every month with a Christmas Challenge on the 25th of the month.

The challenge this month is to create projects using mainly W H I T E and use it to make 4 items, they could be cards, bags, tags or whatever will help you with your Christmas crafting.

When you have made your creation, please photograph it and add it to the Facebook group here.

I am joined by the 3 other demonstrators from around the world

Denise Kepple Garrison 'Lady Bug Stampin'  from America

Ellen Woodbridge  and Rosalie Desmond from Australia

I really enjoyed this challenge, and will try to do it more often, it was really liberating not to have to think hard about colour schemes and matching.  I know that might sound crazy coming from me as I love colour!

Here is my video tutorial...

{Stamping Sunday Blog Hop - Happiness Blooms}

Welcome, welcome, welcome!

Thank you for popping to my blog from the lovely Yvonne.
It's the Sunday blog hop and we have a wonderful selection of cards and projects using the Happiness Blooms Suite.

It's packed full of bright colours and retro floral styling.

Here are 3 approaches with various elements of the suites.  The first is a set of 3 small cards - these were really simple to make, only requiring the Memories and More pack that accompanies the suite, a trimmer , card and some adhesive.

The second project is this bright and fun card highlighting one of the little floral punches.

The third project is stepped up a bit further. I fussy cut some of the leaf stamps so they could flow from the focal point.

To see how I put the cards together, please have a look at my video here.

{Stamping Sunday Bloghop - Gingham Gala Suite}

Welcome to the Stamping Sunday Blog Hop!

The first one of 2019, I'm looking forward to sharing some inspiration using products from the
Gingham Gala Suite

It's a beautiful spring coloured suite, and great for any lovers of butterflies... ahem like me.  I cannot resist them!  Especially when the designs are so intricate.

At the Stampin Sunday Blog Hop we've decided to slightly change what we present to you.  We recognise that some of you may be at the beginning of your crafting journey and have limited supplies, and the rest of you could be anywhere from a beginner to a super avid crafter, with lots and lots of supplies.  To make sure we inspire all of you we are creating 3 projects from the same suite.

Here is my first one, only stamping and 3 inkpads.

The second one requires the use of the co-ordinating butterfly punch and some dimensionals.

And the 3rd one requires all the previously used, with some extra products and a lot more time.

Here is a video tutorial with a few tips.

Do have a look at the other wonderful inspiration from this international group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators.

-{passion for grey pt 1}-

Loving the Basic Grey at the moment.  Have you noticed?
Found this lovely card  >here < by Monica, and was so inspired I got playing.
I stamped some flowers from the Green House Garden stamp set, they were a bit too large for the effect I wanted, so I cut a spiral into them and rolled them up.

I think this is the first time I have inked up this stamp from the Green House Garden set, I completely bypassed it! Will be using it a lot more now!

Can you see the little green flowers have a slight suede texture?  By scrunching and roughing the flower up (punched from cardstock), you can then separate the layers, so not only do you get 2 for the price of 1, but a lovely texture.

Simply Stampin' Challenge 25

Tis week on Simply Stampin they gave us this sketch...

This is what I made.  Given you a bit more of a sneak peek at the new products coming out next month.  Have you noticed that I really love the butterfly stamp?  Using the blender pens to colour it in, I can make it match any card I am making.

Simply Stampin' Challenge 17

Over on Simply Stampin' Challenge this week they have set a colour combo challenge (click here to join in!) here are the colours...

Needed to make a birthday card for my mother in law, so made her this...

Hubby hadn't got her a pressie, so I decorated a little notebook in the same colours and theme.  Dug out my paper crimper hadn't used in years to make the leaves, punched them out with the Blossom punch, folded them in half and put them through the crimper.  Also used a white gel pen to great effect to highlight different areas.
