Stamping Sunday Blog Hop - Favourite Saleabration items

Hi there and welcome,
wow, I hadn't realised I had not blogged for so long! So sorry about that.
I have been busy creating on my YouTube channel, so if you don't follow me over there it's worth a visit here

This month all the hoppers are focusing on Saleabration.  For those of you who don't know what that is, it's the time of year Stampin' Up! give away FREE products.

Here are the 3 I have used today... sorry couldn't pick just one! They are all FREE with qualifying orders.

Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper

Power of of Hope Bundle

Small Bloom Punch

Please watch the video to understand the process for making these.  Sometimes I like to get a few co-ordinating papers and products and only use those.  I created my own background papers from the stamps from Power of Hope then had some fun cutting and gluing strips.  I used some Gold Foil cardstock and the gold faceted gems for some accents.

It was fun using up my scraps to create this little gift bag.

Thank you so much for popping over, please check out the other hoppers here...

Stampin Sunday Blog Hop - Peaceful Poppies Suite

Welcome to this week's Stampin Sunday Blog Hop.  We are featuring products from the Peaceful Poppies Suite.  It has already proved popular amongst demonstrators and customers, and I have found the Painted Poppies stamps to be really easy to use, especially loving the splatters.

I created 2 sheets of one sheet wonders.  The first I used to create this bag.

The other sheet was used to make these cards, the first one would be easy to make by a beginner crafter. It shows off  the stamping and has a minimal amount of extra embellishments, I particularly liked these as they were FREE, during Saleabration this lovely pack of embellishments can be yours after a qualifying purchase.

Using the die set, the stamped poppies can be cut out, and other shapes can be cut to embellish your card.  Do you spot the leaf wth the white detail?  That leaf is actually from the Peaceful Poppies Elements kit, it's perfect for people who don't have a die cutting machine as there are lots of precut elements that can be popped out.  Some are white embossing on watercolour paper and can be coloured.  The leaf below was inked with Blackberry Bliss to match the cardstock,

This card shows off a few more of the flowers from the elements kit.

Here is a video of my process

Enjoy!

[One Sheet Wonder 12x12 Faux watercolour flowers}

As you've probably gathered, I really really do like these floral stamp sets!

I was having a play with the two of them the other day as I wanted to come up with a new picture for my facebook banner, and possibly some new designs for my blog graphics.

I choose colours that match well... Petal Pink, Grapefruit Grove, Terracotta Tile and Cajun Craze, and came up with this.

Today I had some spare time to do a Youtube live, and as the stamps were stillon my desk I decided to have a play again, this time on 12x12 cardstock.  It's something I have been meaning to do for ages!

Here's what happened (a sped up version)

Here is what it looks like...
