I ordered an item which did not arrive and when I asked for a refund they refused unless I did a screen shot of my bank details showing the payment. Since this was a paypal payment and I sent them evidence of my payment they should have been satisfied. I went back to paypal who have refunded immediately. I have been contacted by Aliexpress today (post review) to say they have found the order and have frozen the account because Paypal are refunding and have requested payment from them. It does say the order was processed and dispatched but I will not be using them again since the support yesterday was so poor.

Ii have returned the goods I have also send them proof of signed for return. Also tracking photos . They keep on asking me to chase up with sales every thing is on their website butI have to chase up separately with sales and sales are saying goods is returned into Ali Express website. It has been nearly over 5 months.I also took this matter to Trading standards. They have asked me to give them another 14 days which.I did.Still they keep on taking money from my bank in installments. I have also reported and requested to Klarna to stop paying any money to Ali Express I have also sent proof to Klarna about returned goods. But after a month or so Klarna received a reply that you only returned the goods but didn't send a proof of fault in goods and started withdrawing installments .
Don't know why you are asking for a return address when a return address is coming from you. I have sent you signed proof of return still you are asking for return address. I have also sent you royal mail receipts and a tracking number. It has been over 5 months please stay from this company don't buy 5 months they are still not refunded and in regular email they are asking for return address where I have returned goods when return address was provided by you sorry.

Used to enjoy a good service until my last order that Evri showed as delivered because they took a picture of it in front of the letter box but obviously as it would not have fitted in the letter box they would have left it on the step. When I got home it was not there so obviously stollen! Aliexpress said it shows as divered after I raised a refund, the added after they needed further evidence! Evidence of something I have not got??? The request was cancelled so I lost my money and have not got the item! Evri are useless anyway but am dissatisfied that Aliexpress couldn't care less. I deleted my account and will never use them again.

So disappointed with this particular company couple items arrived defective will not allow me to return also will not allow you cancel a return will not be ordering anything from them ever again.

You better pray you dun buy faulty products from them, getting refunds is nightmare. Firstly you need to wait for 1 month at least, then they will say refund you with coupon and if you ask for cash refund they will drop your refund request. You escalate, call all channel of their customer service and they ask you for shipping document.. you provided them everything they tell you incomplete cannot proceed but will never tell you why incomplete.
----------------------------------------------------------
Customer Service, your response is not making sense. I have waited multiple 48hrs for your team to email me back. Every time their response will be like incorrect / incomplete documentation. Despite me sending at least 5 emails to query what exactly is wrong, I also spoken to 3 different agents of yours but everyone promised that they will do their best to help resolved but the response come back always is not paying me back my refund. Go check my case ID and see how many emails and call in I have already made for this single incident itself and tell me how you want me to believe that AliExpress is not a scammer company

-----------------
English :
Once again, I am right and they are lying; they claim to have transferred the funds even though they received the letter from La Banque Postale confirming that this is absolutely FALSE. It is appalling to see such bad faith.

Ali—a company raking in billions—refuses to honor a €14.19 debt.
I bought a ring in March 2025. It was defective, so I returned it; yet, after a year and a half and hundreds of messages, they have NEVER issued a refund.
At first, they claimed to have sent the payment to the original card, which had expired in July 2025.
They demanded a written statement from the bank, which was sent on June 19, 2026.
Now they claim to have paid into the new card, even though La Banque Postale has confirmed in writing that no refund was ever processed—neither to the old card nor the new one.
Ali no longer answers any emails; they have effectively stolen this money.
I will have to file a formal complaint, notify the DGCCRF, and—if possible—have them banned from selling in Europe.
Of course, to cover themselves, they will reply with the same canned response they use every time, without taking any action or issuing a refund. I therefore confirm that this company is dishonest and unfit to do business.
Dear customer,
Thank you for contacting our service team. We apologize for the unpleasant shopping experience you encountered. Our agent has sent you an email; please check it. If you have any questions, please feel free to reply via email, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Thank you for your understanding and support!

Grand Total Spent over 2 Years: $1849.31
Total Amount dispute to be refunded: $44.00
Received low budget Chinese card packs that had been cut open, and resealed. Obviously tampered with, contacted AliExpress customer support, I dont know if its because ive raised over maybe 5 return requests in the past 2 years combined, but for whatever reason AliExpress needs to receive the tampered product back to issue any kind of refund? I have had maybe one or two issues in the past which were refunded quite promptly, but now, I am repacking a package with shipping materials which is cost out of my pocket, and also they have chosen UPS as a carrier which there is only one drop off point in my entire town, 15 mins away. (The cost to drive an SUV for 13.8 km will typically range between $2.00 and $3.15 CAD for fuel alone. If you include wear-and-tear, maintenance, and depreciation (total driving cost), the true cost is closer to $6.00 to $9.50 CAD) so now for a "free" return I have to spend my own time and money ($15 CAD) apparently to get my money back for something that was tampered with before it was even shipped and I should of received it non-tampered with???
Like I had zero part in this product being tampered with. I bought them as gag gifts when people spend a lot of money on other actual valuable products at a card show booth, the $5 card is a waste of my time, so now having cut open card packs they are literal garbage to me and i am happy to send them back as I did not try or am trying to scam in any way shape or form necessary, and just want to be righted for the wrong as per your "Buyer Protection" which is a term coined by eBay you have drafted to make it sound like you are providing some kind of assurance when in reality, there is very little to none.
Again, as I am one of the last few honest people in the world it seems like, shame to lose a good customer over bad customer support lies and a $44 refund but that's just me. I'll also be word of mouth telling anyone I interact with that even mentions AliExpress to stay far, far away from it.
Contacted customer support numerous times explaining the situation, was told i wouldn't have to return it, then I would have to return it still, all with zero updates on my end, i had to re-contact customer support once again to confirm that now I am being asked to send the package back still after being told it would be refunded (essentially lied to)
So now i am sending back a tampered product at cost to myself which if in a perfect world, someone wouldn't of taken a $5 card out of a $40 box to cost me $15 to just GET MY MONEY BACK. Sucks too as I really enjoyed the savings if you don't have to deal with a bad shop or customer support, but now that I have, I cannot continue to give my business to a company that disrespects loyal customers in this manner.
Bye Byyyyyyye
Edit after reply:
Way to give a generic, non-genuine reply. Do you copy and paste that into all the Trustpilot reviews? Actually read my story:
WHY AM I SPENDING MY OWN MONEY IN RETURNING YOUR PACKAGE OF TAMPERED PRODUCT

I just had to share AliExpress response to my complaint so their old and new customers can assess this Abhorrent Companies response which I am sure is AI generated. Do keep in mind that I received a package with a torn package that was tapped up inside of it. Where 1 item was missing (value ~$10) of 4 items that was invoiced and sent pics with the issue within minutes of receipt. 3 attempts with info that any human would accept but was put on their AI Loop until case closed.
AliExpress expects you to film the opening of the package for them (with a file size limit of 20M which accounts for 7-10 seconds) with multiple clips showing this opening? So their expectation is for the customer to waste 1/2 a day for every parcel delivered, what a joke and treat you as a lying criminal for a $10 refund even though you have spent thousands of dollars previously without issue. I can't wait till I complete my orders with this AI run scum of a company. Here are their requirements:
Dear Customer,
We have received your complaint regarding the incomplete delivery of items in parcel 36YPG334352001000935106, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
In order to further verify the situation, we kindly ask you to provide the following supporting materials so that we can follow up on your case as soon as possible:
1.A complete unboxing video: The video should clearly show the outer packaging, the entire unpacking process, the items actually received, as well as the shipping label information (must be clearly visible).
2.Proof of parcel damage (if applicable): If the parcel was damaged during transit, please contact the logistics carrier to obtain an official damage report or email confirmation issued by them.
3.Proof of parcel weight: Please request an official weight certificate for the parcel from the logistics carrier, so that we can verify whether the actual weight matches the declared weight.
Once we receive the above materials, we will verify and follow up on your case at the earliest opportunity.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation! Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
Best regards,
The AliExpress Customer Service Team
All this for a $10 item that was missing, if you continue to use this AI scum I wish you luck as AI has no concept with it's requests, it's only used to steal from you.

Refuses to honor their manufacturing defect policy. Sent multiple videos and pictures detailing not only the condition the box came in but I showed them the reproducible stuck motor issue.
After 5 claims and literally proof that AliExpress and DYU are breaking US state laws they still quote me with insufficient evidence. Aliexpress has changed their reasonings as to why I’m wrong or why they can’t do anything about 3-4 times now. Makes me wonder why they keep changing their reasonings? And 50% refund for DEADLY manufacturing defects is just plain shameful. This case we’re talking about here risks NATIONWIDE recalls. Not to mention the brand DYU broke US federal law and Oklahoma state law. They also lied about the bike’s functionality. Aliexpress is aware this bike didn’t just come with severe manufacturing defects but that it came with DEADLY manufacturing defects yet still think a 50% refund for a completely in usable ebike is okay. This is the kind of customer service you get when massive corporations break laws. (As of Sept 22nd 2026 and btw I opened this case/claim up more than a week ago now)

I ordered a large pack of magnetic cabinet locks because our youngest seemed determined to figure out how to open every kitchen cabinet. Installation took longer than I expected I managed to mount one of the latches slightly incorrectly and spent five minutes blaming the magnet, a classic scenario when Dad tries a DIY fix. But once everything was properly adjusted, the locks worked perfectly; plus, they are completely invisible from the outside. And thanks to the large pack, I was able to secure all the cabinets at once without wasting time placing a follow-up order.

AliExpress uses delaying tactics by looping customers through repetitive AI support requests, demanding redundant photo or video proof, and running out the 15-day buyer protection clock. I recently bought two lithium batteries from AliExpress which were defective and they wont accept them back as everytime that I attemt to return them they keep asking for additional proof which they have continued to do every day for the last 15 days and guess what? that runs out their buyer protection clock. This has to be one of the biggest Frauds on the internet...NEVER TRUST ALIEXPRESS

After spending a lot of money with AliExpress over the years, my final experience has pushed me away for good. I bought an item that was not as described. AliExpress told me to ship it back at my own expense and promised a full refund for the item and the shipping costs.
I returned the item and provided absolute proof of shipment, a tracking number, and proof of delivery. Despite all this evidence, they refuse to give me my money back, claiming the goods never arrived. This is completely dishonest behaviour. Avoid them at all costs!

Order ref: 3074890082933621- please read as I am providing updates to help you!
I ordered an item and it was delivered damaged and with missing parts and I couldn’t use it.
Contacted Ali express on the same day to let them know. They agreed to a refund of the item and postage as per their refund policy.
I sent it back straight away with proof of postage which is tracked and showed it was delivered and received by Ali express and they are refusing to refund me.
They’re giving me poor reasons like they didn’t receive it, despite having proof of postage and tracking reference and then said I have to deal with seller direct as it has nothing to do with them although my contract is with Ali express.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. As the item was faulty and damaged upon arrival, I rejected the goods and returned them to you.
They refuse to follow the UK law. I agree with others and please do not use them, they are much much better companies around. It is not worth it. They take your money and run and there is no way to contact them as Customer service don’t respond or send generic replies.
I wish I read the rating in trust pilot first which is very low. Don’t make the same mistake I did. I have wasted £50!!
I expect Ali express to send an auto response to this, but don’t be fooled by this. They send it to everyone and it isn’t resolved. If it is, I will come back and give an update!
Update- 19th sept 2026
Ali express are now saying that despite providing a tracking reference which can be tracked online and they can see it was delivered by Royal Mail and received at Ali express. And I have a receipt from Royal Mail to verify this….
They are now saying they require a written confirmation from Royal Mail or any carrier on their letter headed paper to confirm proof of postage, when it was sent, the address it was sent to and when it was delivered!
The told me I have to contact Royal Mail to request this. This is NOT on their return policy! They’re still refusing to refund me for sending a damaged product. Be warned!
More updates to follow..
