Danzo is behind the counter in the main room of Sword Coast Couriers. When spoken to, he expresses concern because the "rampaging fanatics on the road" make his work more difficult. He reveals that several messenger pigeons were killed, forcing him to hunt down the letters they were carrying. The player character can offer to search for the missing letters.
A letter on the roof of Open Hand Temple reveals Danzo's dealings with the Zhentarim, specifically Roah Moonglow. The player character can attempt to blackmail Danzo in exchange for more gold upon completing
