Kanon
Kanon was one of the tiefling refugees seeking shelter at the Emerald Grove in Act One. He was responsible for opening the gate to the grove but lost his life to a volley of goblin arrows, to his sister Arka's dismay. He can be communed with using Speak with Dead.
Overview[edit section | visual editor]
Little is known of Kanon due to his untimely death. However, his surviving sister Arka reveals he would disapprove of her killing Sazza. Arka carries Kanon's Handkerchief with her.
It is also revealed through Rikka's prayer for Kanon that he was her confidant when she felt homesick. Despite never showing it, Rikka believes that he must have felt similarly.
Involvement[edit section | visual editor]
Act One[edit section | visual editor]
In Act One, Kanon attempts to open the Emerald Grove's gate for Aradin, Barth, and Remira but is mortally struck by multiple goblin arrows. Shortly after the battle, his corpse is along the ramparts. The party can commune with him using Speak with Dead.
Kanon's corpse is later buried in the grove at X: 175 Y: 445. His belongings are nearby.
If Minthara's raiding party is defeated at the gate, or if the goblins' leaders are killed, Arka and Memnos move to his grave, with Arka saying he has been avenged, and Memnos mentioning that Kanon would be proud of Arka.
