L.O.V.E...

Today I have a Mixed Media project to share using Susan K Weckesser and some of my favorite products. For the month of September our design team at Susan K Weckesser were asked to share mixed media projects.
Can you believe I made two canvas pieces? I always like to have more then one project when I am playing with new ideas. I can't decide which one I like more.

I used this fabulous Susan K Weckesser Unity stamp set.
This is the one sheet of paper I used for the background and the backside for my large letters.
This is the very large Unity Stamp I used for my canvas
ANG-006-L-O-V-E
Let me share a few steps along the way. This is a 12 x 24 canvas that I covered with Tim Holtz tissue paper.I used scraps of some Susan K Weckesser paper and tore extra from the sheet above.
The large hearts were stamped with Deco-Art Media paint and Crackle paint added to distress.

These hearts were stamped with Memento ink and then distressed with Tim Holtz Antique Linen ink.Next I added the fussy cut hearts to old book pages and tore the shape roughly.
One of our partners at Susan K Weckesser is TCW -The Crafters Workshop, they supplied us with so many Fabulous stencils. The one I used to add dimension to my canvas is called Mini North Star and worked wonderful with Deco -Art modeling paste and Green Gold Media Paint.

If you click on any of the pictures you can get a closer look at the texture and detail.
Let me know if you have any questions and I will get back to you.

I know this has been a long post this time, I just wanted to share as many pictures and angles as I could. Thanks for checking out my project, hope you leave a comment to let me know what you think.

Feeling Blue ? What To Do.

What to do when your blue...have cheerful paper to use. Using both Susan K Weckesser and Core'dinations Color Core paper I was able to make a quick project and have a great gift on hand.
Painted Sentiments is one of my favorite sets from Susan K Weckesser. This set stays out on my desk all the time.

Have you ever made a memo note holder? They are so easy to put together and such a great way to use up scraps of paper. When I cut a piece of my favorite Susan K Weckesser paper I save EVERY piece! That is how I decorated the top and sides of my memo holder.

Love it!
I have been saving (hoarding) this fabulous paper and realized I have TWO pads of these. Am I the only person that saves favorite supplies?

Susan K. Weckesser Inc. /Crafter's Workershop Stencil  Can you believe how much I use this stencil, and how wonderful it works to edge my memo papers.

So I hope your saving your scraps and using them for quick gifts.Would love if you share some of your ideas with us.

Album Of Inspiration Using Tags

Hello Everyone!
I can't believe that August is just flying by so quickly. Decided to share a fun project I made this month using tags. It would be easy to use pre-made tags but I really like to make my own.
Using some of my favorite products from Susan K Weckesser and Coredinations to make a fun Tag Book for someone.

Love this great core paper especially for embossing and distressing.
See how nice it looks embossed and then distressed.
I used Poised & Pretty and Painted Sentiments  on top of some fabulous Susan K Weckesser papers...did I share how great these papers are? The weight is perfect for any type project.
Live in Color Scrapbook paper collection
Such pretty designs that Susan designed herself
I wanted to share how I stamped, cut out and added this sweetie with pop dots for dimension.

Here is my cardstock album without the tags, I added some Umwow chipboard pieces to my ribbons.
One last look at my tags all dressed up. I am going to add inspirational poems or sayings using the words on the front.
Here is my tag book with tags all ready to share.
Thanks for joining me today.
