Lots of Cards

Just popping in to share several cards I have in my stock that I didn't get to share earlier.

All these designs used a Unity Stamps kit of the month I have been using for all my cards.
I am so glad I got so many cards made to send out again this year.

Quick Thank You Gift Idea

Today I am popping in to share a quick gift I made for some really special friends in my life. You know those friends that are always there no matter what is happening. The ones that make you laugh, sit with you when you are crying. I am so blessed to have FIVE of these special people in my life.
There were these gold and silver frames at my local Micheal's in the dollar bins so I picked up a few to use for quick gifts.
I used a Unity sentiment for the inside on a piece of altered paper. I die cut several pieces to decorate the outside. Greenery and holly leaves are from Cheery Lynn, bell is from Tim Holtz.
I was also able to find these canvas bags at Micheal's with the Thank You already printed on them. You know I had to add some more color with some greenery and pine cone stamps from Unity.
Here are the bags with frame inside and a little ribbon and a flower added.
So what do you think of my quick little gifts? Have you made some quick and easy gifts this year? Hope you share a link with me.

Tim Holtz Die Cut Christmas Cards

Oh yea I am loving that I got the time to die cut several of my Tim Holtz dies to use. This is such a fun caroler ser. The stamped sentiment and greenery is from Unity stamp set.
Wanted to share a close up of the background, I use a TCW stencil and modeling paste and sprinkled white glitter for sparkle.
One of my favorite dies is this ice skate set so of course I needed to make a design. This background paper is October Afternoon and the lil extra pieces are from their line also.
Here is a close up of the paper pieced and laced piece.
Thanks for stopping and leaving comments- so appreciate your visits.

You're A Classic

Had to have a birthday card for a very special person in my life. My special friend loves cars especially older classics, so I pulled out my Stampin Up set and made a couple designs so I could give him one.
I used the same papers from my scraps on both cards and used gears from Tim Holtz for accents.
On this one I kept the tag blank until I need it so I can personalize.
Really like the textured papers and fun stamp set I used.
Wanted to share that I even finished the inside.
Hope your having a good week.

Unity Friday Friends With Flair

Popping in today to share a quick design I made using my Unity Stamp of The Month kit.
You know it is Friday and that means Friends With Flair at Unity...
Isn't that angel beautiful? I have seen so many wonderful designs made by the design team at Unity and several Friends With Flair participants. I just knew I had to make something with her.
I stamped and embossed her in silver, then using modeling paste for the background with silver embossing powder. The rays in the background is a Tim Holtz stencil.
How is that for a clean and simple design?  I am pretty happy with how she turned out.
Have a great weekend, and thanks for popping in.

The twine is from Really Reasonable Ribbon, the paper is from my stash and the vintage snaps from my sewing supplies.

I did several layers of Deco Art crackle medium and Media fluid paint in several colors.
I used several inks after using crackle medium.
How about a quick card using October afternoon postcard and lots of yummy ribbons and twine from Really Reasonable Ribbon. Papers were from my stash of Halloween supplies.

L.O.V.E...

Today I have a Mixed Media project to share using Susan K Weckesser and some of my favorite products. For the month of September our design team at Susan K Weckesser were asked to share mixed media projects.
Can you believe I made two canvas pieces? I always like to have more then one project when I am playing with new ideas. I can't decide which one I like more.

I used this fabulous Susan K Weckesser Unity stamp set.
This is the one sheet of paper I used for the background and the backside for my large letters.
This is the very large Unity Stamp I used for my canvas
ANG-006-L-O-V-E
Let me share a few steps along the way. This is a 12 x 24 canvas that I covered with Tim Holtz tissue paper.I used scraps of some Susan K Weckesser paper and tore extra from the sheet above.
The large hearts were stamped with Deco-Art Media paint and Crackle paint added to distress.

These hearts were stamped with Memento ink and then distressed with Tim Holtz Antique Linen ink.Next I added the fussy cut hearts to old book pages and tore the shape roughly.
One of our partners at Susan K Weckesser is TCW -The Crafters Workshop, they supplied us with so many Fabulous stencils. The one I used to add dimension to my canvas is called Mini North Star and worked wonderful with Deco -Art modeling paste and Green Gold Media Paint.

If you click on any of the pictures you can get a closer look at the texture and detail.
Let me know if you have any questions and I will get back to you.

I know this has been a long post this time, I just wanted to share as many pictures and angles as I could. Thanks for checking out my project, hope you leave a comment to let me know what you think.
