  • 👋 Hi, I’m Elias
  • 🔭 I am a Doctoral Researcher at the ΔE+ Research Lab at Simon Fraser University (SFU), specializing in sustainable energy engineering and energy planning.
  • 💼 Professionally, I serve as an Energy Planner (Consultant) for BC Hydro. I bring more than a decade of industry experience in power utility generation planning and multi-country modelling with United Nations (UN).
  • 🎓 I am a trained Electrical Engineer, professionally licensed in Bangladesh and currently pursuing licensure in British Columbia, Canada.
  • 🌱 My current work focuses on advancing open-source energy system optimization models (e.g., PyPSA, OSeMOSYS, CLEWs) to evaluate robust decarbonization pathways.
  • 👀 I’m an Energy Modelling Enthusiast and Docotoral Researcher at DeltaE+ lab of SFU of Simon Fraser University, BC, Canada.
  • I also love to share my learnings on OSeMOSYS/CLEWs/PyPSA frameworks and also about the other tools I contributed.
