1. Add work.sh somewhere, i.e home dir
2. Edit the script with applications you want in your workflow
3. nano ~/.bash_profile and add alias work='path/to/work.sh'
4. source ~/.bash_profile
5. Done

Now you can just type work in your terminal and all the applications you need for work will open.
