Engineering Principles
01 — Understand before building
Good software starts with understanding the users, requirements, constraints, and business process.
02 — Keep systems understandable
I value clear architecture, meaningful data models, predictable APIs, and code that another developer can actually maintain.
03 — Security is part of the system
Authentication, authorization, validation, data protection, and failure handling shouldn't be treated as features added at the end.
04 — Build for reality
A system that works locally isn't necessarily production-ready. Deployment, configuration, monitoring, database integrity, and operational workflows matter.
05 — Improve through iteration
I prefer building useful versions, learning from real usage, and continuously improving the system rather than trying to predict everything upfront.

My experience includes software development, requirements analysis, technical research, data management, and hands-on IT projects.
I've worked across both software and operational technology environments, including institutional systems and large-scale device deployment.
One notable ICT deployment involved the configuration of 229 laptops for Members of Parliament as part of a 15-person technical team over three days.
Building From Malawi 🇲🇼
I'm interested in technology that responds to real problems in African markets.
Rather than simply reproducing solutions designed elsewhere, I want to build systems that take local infrastructure, payment methods, institutions, users, and constraints seriously.
That perspective influences the projects I choose to work on — particularly fintech, digital identity, verification, and accessible software systems.
