Lyra v0.23.0 — DeepFist neural CW decoder Adds the opt-in DeepFist neural CW decoder (Brent Crier / N9BC, PR #7): a CNN + CTC network running on ONNX Runtime CPU, selectable per CW Decoder panel. Engine selector (per panel): 0 = Classic — the existing faithful fldigi 4.2.06 port 1 = Neural — DeepFist CNN/CTC 2 = Auto — hybrid arbiter picking Classic vs Neural - Model + ONNX Runtime bundled as tracked release artifacts, sha256-verified. - Model loads lazily on first switch to Neural/Auto; default Classic leaves it dormant at startup (no idle cost). - Operator-validated decoding live CW on BrickSDR2 (Protocol 2) and Hermes Lite 2 (Protocol 1). Windows-only. Qt6 / C++23. DeepFist model + decoder: MIT, Brent Crier (N9BC).
Lyra v0.22.0 — BrickSDR2 / HPSDR Protocol 2 First-class BrickSDR2 support over HPSDR Protocol 2 (RX + TX, SSB on-air confirmed), full per-rig configuration (audio, S-meter cal, mic source), startup no-radio watchdog, elastic mic FIFO + sideband fix, plus the merged HL2 CW type-ahead / UX work.
A small maintenance release on top of v0.21.0. With **CTUN** (centre-tune lock) engaged, your transmit signal now paints on the **VFO marker where you're tuned** — not at the frozen display centre. If you'd noticed your TX appear to sit on the CTUN-engage frequency on the panadapter/waterfall: that was a **display-positioning bug only**. The radio was always transmitting on the dial (the numeric TX frequency readout was correct the whole time) — now the on-screen picture matches it. Added a **500 Hz** option to the VFO step pickers (VFO A and VFO B) and to the Panafall mouse-wheel scroll step. Internal groundwork toward multi-radio support (per-rig configuration scoping). It's **inert for current HL2 / HL2+ operators** — no behaviour change — and lays the foundation for additional radios down the road. Install **over** your existing version — no uninstall needed. Windows 10 1809+ / 11.
v0.21.0 — TCI Digital-Mode Keying + Startup Recovery TCI: digital-mode transmit now cycles cleanly between TX and RX with MSHV, WSJT-X, JTDX and similar clients. A full audit of Lyra's TCI keying against the Expert Electronics TCI protocol found and fixed the root cause of MSHV getting stuck in transmit (and WSJT-X's return-to-RX lag): the keyed state is now confirmed to the client exactly once, on the real key edge — not pre-emptively. Also lands reference-verified parity fixes (VFO-B tracking, split_enable, absolute IF, real CW sideband mode reporting) and a per-connection RX audio format. Startup recovery: safe boot comes up read-only and never overwrites your saved layout; repeated failed starts auto-reset just the panel layout — non-destructive, every other setting kept.
