I'm Aayush - a senior in Northeastern University's class of 2025! I am a Computer Science major with a concentration in artificial intelligence. I have been working in the field of Computer Science since 2017, becoming well-versed in both Python and Java, and began to specialize in artificial intelligence and algorithmic thinking by 2020. I started to explore the latter through online courses that covered material from search algorithms to deep learning and neural networks, as well as their implementations in Python. I started to apply this knowledge, as well as diversify my skillset through two internships at the Columbia University Center on Poverty and Social Policy during the summers of 2018 and 2019, an experience centered around data science and its applications in real-world research projects. I then received the opportunity to work at InvestCloud as a Software Development Intern on the Product Development team, where I assisted the developers with the integration of a newly acquired financial management software. In particular, I focused on building and debugging communication services with the company's native UI/UX and the new backend financial calculation engines. From August-December 2023 I interned at Scientific Systems, focusing on automation and coordination of unmanned systems in different vehicles. I also participated in UKG's Software Engineering internship program, where I have been learning how to support and improve large systems hosted on the cloud. Finally, in Fall 2024, I interned with Snowflake's Innovation Showcase team, where I was assigned the creation of a flagship demo leveraging novel Snowflake/Cortex AI features. I look forward to gaining more professional experience like this in my future, and I hope to become a larger part of the revolution that is the growth of technology and artificial intelligence in society very soon!
