The NGIAB 101 training module, developed by the Cooperative Institute for Research to Operations in Hydrology (CIROH), offers an introductory, hands-on learning experience with NextGen In A Box (NGIAB)—a modular, open-source hydrologic modeling framework. This module guides users through the complete modeling workflow, including installation, data preparation, model execution, evaluation, and visualization. It also provides optional advanced topics for high-performance computing (HPC) environments.
To test this repository locally, open training-NGIAB-101 in RStudio, then run sandpaper::serve().
Most contributors should only need to edit markdown files to contribute content to this module. For more involved changes, please reference the Introduction to the Carpentries Workbench.
If you've not used Sandpaper before, please see the setup instructions. Note that you may need to update to the latest version of R.
