Hi, I'm Miguel

DevOps engineer at Kuehne+Nagel, based in Porto. I work on the infrastructure behind an AI-driven data platform, building reliable and scalable systems on Kubernetes and AWS.

Day to day that means Kubernetes, Crossplane and Terraform for infrastructure, GitOps with Argo CD, cluster autoscaling and cost optimization with Karpenter, and full-stack observability with the LGTM stack (Loki, Grafana, Tempo, Mimir). Before this I built cloud platforms for BMW connected services at Critical TechWorks.

I like fixing the boring-but-important things upstream. Lately I have been contributing to the tools I use at work and writing about it.
