Before you begin, ensure you have the following installed:
- XAMPP (or any Apache + PHP server)
- PHP 7.4 or higher
- GD Library enabled in PHP
- A web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.)
download the file and open it from vs code
Step 2: Move Files to XAMPP
Copy the image-converter folder to your XAMPP htdocs directory:
C:\xampp\htdocs\image-converter
Step 3: Enable GD Library
Open XAMPP Control Panel Click Config next to Apache Select PHP (php.ini) Find the line: ;extension=gd Remove the semicolon: extension=gd Save the file
Step 4: Start Apache Server
Open XAMPP Control Panel Click Start next to Apache Wait for Apache to turn green
Step 5: Access the Website Open your web browser and visit: http://localhost/image-converter/
