linkfold

Link-in-bio page generator. A JSON config in, one self-contained static HTML file out.

Overview

No framework, no build tooling, no external requests from the generated page -- it's a single HTML file with inline CSS that can be hosted anywhere a static file can be served (GitHub Pages, Vercel, a bucket, a folder next to a portfolio site).

Usage

node linkfold.js config.json [out.html]

Output defaults to dist/index.html.

Config shape

{
  "name": "hina",
  "tagline": "Full-Stack Developer -- Luau & Python",
  "avatar": "https://example.com/avatar.png",
  "links": [
    { "label": "GitHub", "url": "https://github.com/Hinikaa" },
    { "label": "Portfolio", "url": "https://hinika.vercel.app" }
  ]
}

avatar is optional.

Notes

  • All text fields are HTML-escaped and javascript: URIs in link targets are stripped to # -- the config is a local file you wrote yourself, not really a trust boundary, but escaping is free and stops a stray < in a bio from breaking the page layout.
  • No client-side JavaScript in the generated page at all.
