Trezvo is a minimalist Android application that estimates the time required for alcohol to be eliminated from the body.
The application collects basic physiological data and information about consumed drinks to estimate the time required for alcohol elimination using a modified Widmark formula.
| First Question | Second Question | Third Question | Result |
|---|---|---|---|
- Personalized calculation: Takes into account the user's gender, weight, and height.
- Tolerance scale: Allows users to adjust the elimination coefficient used by the calculation model.
- Flexible drink input: Add any drinks by specifying the volume (ml) and strength (ABV %).
- Sobriety countdown: Displays the estimated time remaining until sobriety.
The calculations are based on the classic Widmark formula, adapted for individual alcohol tolerance:
- The mass of pure alcohol in grams is calculated using the density of ethanol (0.789 g/mL).
- The Widmark distribution factor is applied (r = 0.68 for men, 0.55 for women).
- The tolerance scale (from 1 to 10) is mapped into the elimination rate (beta), ranging from 0.10 to 0.20 per mille per hour.
- The final time is adjusted using a safety margin coefficient to provide a more conservative estimate.
