I’m a friendly neighborhood IT Engineer with a strong focus on Software Development, DevOps, and DevSecOps / IT Security. I build systems that work, scale, and don’t panic in production (most of the time).
When I’m not shipping backend code or hardening pipelines, I’m usually deep in conversation with a PostgreSQL database (it talks back - mostly in query plans). My work lives at the intersection of code, infrastructure, and security, where reliability, automation, and risk reduction matter more than buzzwords.
I use Python to build and automate, integrate security early into delivery pipelines, and continuously ask the most important DevSecOps question:
“How does this fail - and how do we prevent it?”
Forever curious. Forever learning. Always one Google search away from clarity.
I also write as a technical writer on Medium, where I break down complex topics in DevOps, DevSecOps, security, and emerging technologies into practical, readable insights.

- DevOps & DevSecOps (secure-by-design delivery pipelines)
- IT Security & GRC (risk, controls, and compliance awareness)
- Blockchain & Applied Cryptography
- Backend & Software Development
- Web Application Development
- Quality Assurance & Testing
- Infrastructure & Platform Engineering
- IT Project & Delivery Management
- DevSecOps – embedding security into CI/CD, not bolting it on later
- GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) – keeping systems secure, auditable, and sane
- Quality Assurance – because “it runs” is not the same as “it’s reliable”
- Software Testing – breaking things early, not in production
- Java – my first love (no regrets)
- JavaScript – complicated, but we make it work
- Databases – PostgreSQL & MySQL, where logic, data, and secrets live
I’m open to collaboration on:
- DevOps / DevSecOps projects
- Secure software development
- Open-source contributions
- Technical writing & knowledge sharing
- Consulting or freelance engagements
Let’s build systems that are secure, observable, and boring in production (the best kind).

I only bite when debugging - and usually at the bug.
Technology feels like magic -
until you realize it’s just well-applied engineering, discipline, and curiosity.
