The Shenzhen Ubiquitous Data Enabling Key Laboratory (深圳市泛在数据赋能重点实验室) is a municipal-level key laboratory located in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China. Established in 2023 with a funding of 5 million RMB from the Shenzhen Science, Technology and Innovation Commission, the laboratory is affiliated with the Institute of Data and Information at Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School (SIGS).
Our laboratory focuses on cutting-edge research in:
- Big Data & AI: Data-driven intelligence and artificial intelligence applications
- Internet of Things (IoT): Ubiquitous sensing and connectivity
- Embedded Intelligent Systems: Smart embedded computing solutions
- Information Technology: Electronics, communications, computer science, and control engineering
We are committed to addressing national strategic needs and regional economic development through data empowerment, with a particular focus on the electronic information and intelligent manufacturing industries in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
The Institute of Data and Information was founded in February 2023, integrating resources from:

- School of Information Science and Technology
- School of Advanced Manufacturing
- School of Logistics and Transportation
The institute emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration with a focus on "intelligence" and "systematic" approaches to new engineering education.
