Hi there, I'm Dr. Maruf Ahmed Bhuiyan 👋

I'm a physician-scientist and Laboratory Research Officer at the Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR), Bangladesh. My work focuses on virology, molecular diagnostics, pathogen genomics, bioinformatics, and infectious disease surveillance, with a particular interest in emerging viral diseases and public health.

I enjoy combining laboratory research with computational approaches to better understand pathogen evolution, support outbreak investigations, and strengthen genomic surveillance.
