About Me:

I’m Mazen Daghari, an Electronic and Communication Systems Engineer specializing in embedded systems and robotics. My passion lies in developing intelligent robotic platforms that integrate real-time control, autonomous navigation, and sensor-based decision-making.

One of my main projects is the Nomade Rover, a tactical defense and surveillance robot. It features modules like the Samurai Module, which includes an AI-controlled machine gun, advanced sensors (LiDAR, depth and infrared cameras), and a mobility system driven by Ackermann steering controlled over the CAN bus using ESP32.

I’ve worked extensively with ROS 2, Gazebo Classic, RViz, and NVIDIA Jetson platforms to simulate, test, and deploy robotics applications. I also use tools like Isaac Sim for advanced simulation and behavior trees to implement complex autonomous tasks, such as person-following using camera and LiDAR data.

Academically, I’m studying at the National School of Electronics and Telecommunications of Sfax (ENET'Com), where I focus on practical and research-based applications of embedded systems in autonomous robotics.

I'm committed to bridging the gap between simulation and real-world performance in robotics, and I share my work and collaborate with others through GitHub and LinkedIn.
