minthcm.org is an open-source, AI-native HCM platform designed for Agentic Engineering.
Build, customize, and deploy HR systems powered by AI agents β with full control over your data, architecture, and infrastructure.
MintHCM is not just another HR system. It's a platform for building AI-driven workforce solutions - with full ownership of your data, code, and infrastructure.
The problem with existing options:
- Traditional SaaS HR β no data sovereignty, no deep customization, vendor lock-in
- Other open-source HR tools β full control, but no native AI agent ecosystem
- AI-first SaaS β powerful AI features, but you don't own your data or infrastructure
What makes it different:
- π€ Agent-ready by design β not AI features bolted on, but native MCP/A2A/WebMCP architecture built for the agentic era
- π Truly open-source β AGPL v3, no gated features, no enterprise-only fork, no phone-home telemetry
- ποΈ Framework-level customization β full code and data-model control, not just configuration
- π Deploy anywhere β on-prem, cloud, hybrid, edge; any region, any provider, any jurisdiction
MintHCM is designed to work within modern AI ecosystems and support advanced agent-based architectures:
-
π MCP / WebMCP β connect HR data and processes to any MCP-compatible AI agent
-
π€ A2A (Agent-to-Agent) β orchestrate multi-agent workflows across systems
-
π₯οΈ A2UI / AGUi β human β agent collaboration interfaces
-
π§ Built-in AI agent β ready to use out of the box
-
π οΈ Custom agent support β build and deploy your own agents on HR data and processes
-
LLM-agnostic: Use any model or provider β OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, local Llama, or regional sovereign LLMs. No forced dependency on any single AI vendor.
-
Agentic Engineering: MintHCM enables teams to design, deploy, and orchestrate agents that automate HR decisions β not just workflows.

Mint is based on two popular, well-known business applications: SugarCRM Community Edition (now SugarAI) and SuiteCRM. This is why we often say that MintHCM is CRM reinvented. You all know how much goes into technological development of this type of business softwareβ¦
That's why we need your help.
Thanks to the open code of both SugarCRM CE and SuiteCRM we were able to reintroduce some features, redesign other, and provide brand new system to the users. The code of MintHCM remains open so feel free to use it
This repository contains a source code of MintHCM system.
The installation process is described in this guide: minthcm.org/support/minthcm-installation-guide/
MintHCM is based on SuiteCRM, so the API is very similar. However there are a few important differences, that we covered in this guide: minthcm.org/support/how-to-use-mint-api/
MintHCM is built with and for its community β developers, HR professionals, system integrators, and open-source advocates worldwide. Be part of the conversation.
