Description
In Firefox 152.0 the Firefox Settings were completely reorganized. That was announced in the Firefox 152.0 Release Notes.
Firefox ESR 140.x was declared EOL last week and so we should probably update the documentation to focus at least to Firefox 153.x, the current ESR that will be supported for a year.
Unfortunately the instructions are getting a bit more complicated but I have tried to streamline them as much as possible.
In order to ease the review I will also attach several screenshots that shows all the single steps, so if you do not have Firefox ESR 153.x handy you should be able to follow the screenshots. The screenshots were done on NetBSD running Firefox 153.4.0.
Here we can see the Settings -> Privacy and security:
...if we scroll a bit:
...we scroll more!...:
We can finally see the Connection and software security that shows Advanced settings.
When we click on Advanced settings:
...we scroll a bit:
...at the bottom we can see Certificates and Manage certificates.
When we click on Manage certificates we have a Certificate Manager window:
By default we are in the Your Certificates tab but we need to go to the Authorities tab, if we click it:
...and then finally all previous import instructions applies! :)
