Building, testing, and documenting useful technology.
I'm Murat Kurkoglu, founder of Orioninsist. I have a background in computer engineering and economics, and I build and write about cybersecurity, Linux, practical software, and automation.
My current learning and portfolio focus is defensive security and the Junior SOC Analyst (L1) path. I value reproducible experiments, clear documentation, responsible security practice, and real working code over inflated skill lists.

Hands-on cybersecurity learning A code-first workspace for small, verified security labs, scripts, and experiments. Longer-form learning notes live on the blog. |
Hugo-powered website The home for cybersecurity, Linux, development, and automation writing, with Markdown content managed in a separate repository. |
Standalone projects: Larger, independently usable and tested tools will receive their own repositories when warranted, and the best of them will be featured here. Not every small script needs a separate repository.
