The bare `rlaif` name on PyPI is taken; transfer request is pending upstream. Switch the distribution name to `rlaif-mcp` in the meantime. The import name and `rlaif` console script are unchanged — installs become `uv tool install rlaif-mcp`, but `import rlaif` and `rlaif ...` still work. Wheel filename normalizes the hyphen per PEP 427, so the CI/release wheel globs and the importlib.metadata lookup move to `rlaif_mcp` / `rlaif-mcp` accordingly. …scode, zed), add rlaif install/uninstall for the 5 with dedicated JSON configs snippet.py grows builders for antigravity (~/.gemini/antigravity/mcp_config.json, reuses mcpServers JSON), opencode (top-level mcp/type:local/array command), cursor (~/.cursor/mcp.json), windsurf (~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json), vscode (servers/type:stdio), and zed (context_servers fragment). installer.py is phase 1 of auto-install: writes/removes rlaif under mcpServers in claude-desktop, claude-code, cursor, windsurf, antigravity. Atomic temp+rename, single .rlaif.bak, refuse-on-conflict (--force overrides), idempotent re-runs, --dry-run preview. Unsupported clients (codex, hermes, opencode, vscode, zed) exit 2 with a hint to use `rlaif snippet` — the phase-2 line we have not crossed because their formats need round-trip-aware parsers we don't depend on, or share files with unrelated user state. 143 tests total (was 105), pyright clean on src/. Updated the README to clarify the install process and client configurations.
…l.yaml Refactor installer.py around a FormatAdapter base + JsonAdapter / TomlAdapter / YamlAdapter so install/uninstall delegate parse/serialize/get/set/remove to a per-format adapter. The new TOML and YAML adapters use round-trip parsers (tomlkit, ruamel.yaml) so user comments, key order, and surrounding config survive a noop install. Bumps auto-install coverage from 5/10 to 7/10 clients; opencode/vscode/zed stay manual (no python comment-preserving JSONC writer; zed shares its settings file with arbitrary editor state). Bumps to 1.0.3. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
Removed redundant details about rlaif entry installation and configuration limits.
