I'm a research engineer working at the intersection of robotics perception, 3D computer vision, and embedded systems.
Currently at Boston University's Dependable Computing Lab under Dr. Wenchao Li, building VLM/VLA manipulation pipelines on a 7-DoF Sawyer arm — camera calibration and homography-based localization, multi-view 3D reconstruction, VLM plan-quality benchmarking, and an integrated ROS1/ROS2 + Gazebo simulation stack.
I also ship production vision systems: I built Crown Barber Studio, a 3D head-scanning iOS app with its own real-time vision + graphics pipeline built on ARKit, as Principal Software Engineer.
Before this: BU Dual Bachelor's in Physics and Computer Science, with a research background in computational imaging, optics & photonics, and computational condensed matter. Along the way I've been an ML intern at Scale AI, a data science intern at Leuko Labs, co-founded the BU AI Society, and shipped GreenMetric.ai, a sustainability-scoring SaaS.
Always happy to talk robotics perception, 3D reconstruction, computational imaging, or embedded vision!
